I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. Today especially, I am thankful for my sweet boy. And I’m holding closely to my heart all the mom’s who have lost their babies- whether in utero or after being born.
For Mother’s Day this year, we made handprint mats. I put that poem in the middle of their handprints that talks about remembering how little their hands are and how you will miss them. Their handprints are created in paint and on the edge of the poem. I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture!
Instead, here is a picture of my own sweet boy! This is one of my favorite pictures of us. It was taken at the Mother-Son Dance earlier this year.
How are you celebrating Mother’s Day today? How did you celebrate at school?
